He is a distinguished educator with over 32 years of rich and diverse experience across industry, academics and research. He is actively involved in policy making, governance, multidisciplinary research, and in various education reforms including NEP-2020, Industry 4.0/5.0 and Education 4.0/5.0. He is known for his innovative ideas, strong industry linkages, and institution-building capabilities. He is an active member of the Executive India Council Computer Society, LMISTE, LMSCRS, SMIEEE, MACM, MISTE, LMACEEE, MISOC, MIAENG, MISCIT, and Chairman of the Computer Society of India (Ghaziabad section). He was a member of the Executive Council of IEEE UP section (R-10), and member of the Executive Committee IEEE Computer and Signal Processing Society.

He led NAAC & NBA accreditation successfully at university level & programme level. He serves as an assessor for NAAC, an evaluator for NBA, and an assessor for NABET under the Quality Council of India, contributing significantly to quality assurance in higher education. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and academic contributions, he was honored with the 'Best Dean of the Year' award by the IARE Awards in 2020. Got the Best Teacher award from Union Minister, the Best Students Project Guide Award from Microsoft, and the best faculty award from Cognizant. He has also been featured in Education View India: Top 5 Remarkable Men in Education 2025. His areas of interest are AI/ML, Block Chain Technology, Cyber Security & Business/Data Analytics, Algorithms, Wireless and Sensor Networking. He received research/consultancy funding from government and private organizations and organized multiple reputed International Conferences, delivered many keynote talks, participated in many panel discussions nationally and internationally. Published more than 155 + research papers in various International Conference & Journals and 6 Books are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. More than 125 patents are published & 48 are granted.
