Dr. Amitabh Bhattacharya joined Sharda University Agra as Controller of Examinations since April 2026. He earned his Doctoral degree in Chemistry (interdisciplinary) from IIT, Banaras Hindu University. He has more than 34 years of teaching, research, and administrative experiences. He has published number of research papers in leading national and international journals of repute. He has received best research paper award in the category of applied research and been bestowed with the best teacher award.

As the Controller of Examinations, Dr. Bhattacharya is the principal officer for all the examinations conducted by the University. He is responsible for the conduct of examinations, conduct of evaluation, result processing and publishing, grievance handling etc.
