The Department of Research and Development (R&D) was established with the objective of fostering a strong research culture and promoting innovation across diverse disciplines. In addition to administering the University's Ph.D. programmes, the Department actively facilitates research and development in frontier areas of science, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary domains. It also encourages collaborative research with leading academic institutions, research organizations, industries, and government agencies to address contemporary societal and technological challenges.
