Faces of Emotion – Photography / Creative Contest

The Faces of Emotion Photography/Creative Contest is organized by the Sharda School of Humanities (SSH) at Sharda University Agra Campus. This contest invites students to creatively capture and express the diverse range of human emotions through photography, sketches, or drawings.

The theme “Faces of Emotion” encourages participants to explore how feelings such as happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, fear, and love can be communicated through facial expressions and artistic interpretation. The competition aims to promote creativity, observation skills, and artistic expression among students while providing a platform to showcase their talent.

Objective of the Contest

  • To encourage creative thinking and artistic expression.
  • To help participants explore human emotions through visual storytelling.
  • To promote mobile photography and creative art skills among students.
  • To provide a platform for students to display their artistic abilities.

Theme

Faces of Emotion

Participants are required to capture or illustrate human emotions through facial expressions. The entry should clearly reflect the chosen emotion and communicate a meaningful visual story.

Categories of Participation

Participants can submit their entry in one of the following categories:

  1. Photography
    • The photograph must be taken using a mobile phone only.
    • The photo must be captured within the university campus during the contest period.
  2. Sketch/Drawing
    • The artwork should clearly represent a human emotion aligned with the theme.
    • Participants may use any drawing medium (pencil, pen, colors, etc.).

Participation Guidelines

  • Each participant may submit only one entry.
  • Entries must be original work created by the participant.
  • Photographs must be taken during the contest period and within the university campus.
  • Sketches or drawings must clearly depict a human emotion related to the theme.
  • Any form of plagiarism or previously submitted work will lead to disqualification.
  • Participants must upload their entry through the Google Form link provided by the organizers.
  • The uploaded file should be a clear image of the photograph or artwork.
  • Only one submission per participant will be accepted.
  • Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Submission Process

  1. Participants must register through the Google Form shared by the organizers.
  2. Fill in the required basic details (name, course, department, contact information).
  3. Upload the photograph or image of the sketch/drawing in the form.
  4. Submit the form before the submission deadline.

Important Dates

  • Launch Date: 12 March 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 15 March 2026
  • Result Announcement: 16 March 2026
