Dr. Soni Sharma is currently affiliated with Sharda University, Agra as an Associate Professor in English Communication and Assistant Dean of Sharda School of Humanities. She also handles professional training and development of students. In her past associations at Jaipuria School of Business, BIMTECH, Amity University and IMS Ghaziabad, she taught business communication courses and conducted several MDPs, International Conferences and International FDPs. She has been connected and collaborated with several international bodies, Prestigious journals, and esteemed researchers, who were instrumental in securing accreditation and funding for projects.
She has also contributed to the development of international relations as Chairperson-International Relations through MOUs and exchange programs and benefited the above-mentioned institutes in brand building globally. She also has exposure to teach internationally at the University of Harrapan, Indonesia, and UCSI University, Malaysia as an adjunct faculty.
As a trainer, she has conducted MDPs on women empowerment for THDCIL. She has also undertaken MDPs and EDPs independently in the area of Effective Communication, Negotiation Skills and Conflict Management. She has delivered and conducted many national & international Executive and Management Development Programmes in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Germany for PT Oleochem and Sinarmas Oleochemicals. She has delivered many sessions on Campus to Corporate for executive trainees at GAIL, BHEL (Public Sector Enterprises) & also to PO inductees at several nationalized banks like Punjab & Sindh Bank, Canara Bank, Corporation Bank of India, Punjab National Bank & Oriental Bank of Commerce. She has also delivered a few MDPs for Finserv, Helm 360 Sriram Pistons, Syscom & Idemia.
She has published significantly in ABDC category and Scopus. She also published cases in IVEY and EMCS. She is on the editorial board of Asian Journal of Business Research and Young Consumer. She is an active member of South East Asian Research Association.
She is MBA (Entrepreneurship) and M.A (Eng.) from Jamia Millia Islamia. She completed her M.Phil. and PhD from IGNOU. She is multilingual and the knowledge of her multilingualism enriches and enables her teaching with innovation and diversity.
