Successfully Organizes Industry Aligned Summer Internship Bootcamp on MERN Stack, Aptitude & Soft Skills

Sharda University Agra, in collaboration with Codesquadz Education Private Limited and Sharda Skills, successfully conducted a One-Month In-House Summer Internship Bootcamp Program on MERN Stack Development, Aptitude and Soft Skills. The initiative was designed to equip students with industry-relevant technical competencies, problem-solving abilities, and professional skills essential for career success in today's competitive technology landscape.
The bootcamp witnessed enthusiastic participation from 133 students representing various academic programs, including B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), Data Science, BCA, and MCA. Conducted over a period of one month, the program comprised 100 hours of intensive training, combining technical learning with employability enhancement modules.
The technical component of the bootcamp focused on the MERN Stack, covering modern web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Through a structured curriculum and hands-on learning approach, students gained practical experience in designing, developing, and deploying full-stack web applications. In addition to technical training, dedicated sessions on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Communication Skills, Personality Development, Teamwork, Presentation Skills, and Interview Preparation were conducted to strengthen students placement readiness and professional confidence.
A key highlight of the program was its emphasis on experiential and project-based learning. Students were organized into teams of four to five members and assigned real-world development projects that simulated industry environments. Under the guidance of experienced mentors and industry experts, participants worked collaboratively to analyze requirements, develop solutions, and present their projects. The bootcamp concluded with comprehensive assessments, project evaluations, and technical presentations, enabling students to demonstrate their learning outcomes and practical skills.
The initiative provided students with valuable exposure to industry practices, modern development frameworks, collaborative work culture, and professional communication standards. It also fostered critical thinking, innovation, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities—qualities that are highly sought after by employers.
