Sharda Sports Connect 2026 Successfully Conducted

Department of Students Welfare (DSW), Sharda University Agra, successfully organized Sharda Sports Connect 2026, a week-long sporting extravaganza for faculty and staff members from 05 June to 10 June 2026 at the University Activity Centre. Organized under the theme “Connect • Compete • Celebrate,” the event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, employee engagement, and a healthy work-life balance among members of the University community.

The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony held on 05 June 2026 at the Architecture Building, where participants were encouraged to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy competition. Faculty and staff members from various schools and administrative departments enthusiastically participated in the competitions, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of sporting activity and camaraderie.

The tournament featured a range of indoor sports, including Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Chess, and Musical Chair, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their athletic skills, strategic thinking, and competitive spirit.

Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and professionalism, reflecting the University's commitment to fostering holistic well-being and a positive work culture. The event not only encouraged healthy competition but also strengthened interpersonal relationships among faculty and staff members across departments.

The event was organized (DSW) and was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Anandita Chauhan, Assistant Manager, DSW, and Mr. Kapil Kumar Attri, Sports Officer, under the able guidance of Dr. Vasundhara Saxena, Incharge Dean – Students Welfare. The successful conduct of the competition reflected the University's commitment to promoting employee well-being, active engagement, and a vibrant sporting culture. The event not only provided a platform for healthy competition but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie, teamwork, sportsmanship, and interdepartmental collaboration among faculty and staff members across the University.
