Celebrates National Pharmacy Week 2025

Sharda School of Pharmacy, Sharda University, Agra, successfully organized National Pharmacy Week 2025 with the theme:
“Pharmacists as Advocates for Vaccination.”
The event took place under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Honble Vice Chancellor, Sharda University Agra, and the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma, Officiating Dean, SSP. It was a day filled with insightful discussions, expert talks, and educational activities that showcased the crucial role pharmacists play in advocating for public health.
The programme featured distinguished speakers from the medical and clinical fields:
- Dr. Uma Sharma, Surgical Oncologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon, shared her expert insights on the importance of vaccination in preventing diseases and protecting public health.
- Dr. Anupam Sharma, Emergency Physician & Professor of Pharmacology, SNMC Agra, discussed vaccination in emergency and critical care, emphasizing the vital role pharmacists play in patient counselling and educating the public about vaccination benefits.
The event also featured an engaging Poster Presentation Competition, where students showcased their creativity and knowledge on the theme of vaccination. The winners were awarded certificates for their outstanding contributions.
