Organized a Marathon to celebrate World Athletics Day

Sharda School of Pharmacy, Sharda University Agra, successfully organized a Marathon Competition on 9th May 2025 to celebrate World Athletics Day. The event aimed to raise awareness about fitness and sports among students and faculty members.

The marathon was conducted under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Sharda University Agra, who consistently supports initiatives promoting the mental and physical well-being of students. Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Kumar Sharma, Dean, Sharda School of Pharmacy, also inspired students and faculty to actively participate in the competition.

Prior to the marathon, a motivational session was conducted by Mr. Hariom Singh, a seasoned athletic coach and trainer. He highlighted the numerous benefits of engaging in sports and physical activities, emphasizing the importance of maintaining fitness and an active lifestyle.

In the boys' category, the top performers were Ravindra Yadav from D.Pharm, followed by Akash Bhadouriya from B. Tech (EC), Narayan Singh from B.Pharm, Atul Kumar Yadav from B. Tech (CSE), and Ashish Singh, also from B.Pharm. In the girls' category, the winners included Ishika Yadav, Iteeca Singh, and Stuti Bhardwaj from B.Pharm, Mohini Tomar from B. Com, and Anshika Sharma from B. Tech (CSE).

The event was efficiently organized by the Sports and Cultural Committee of Sharda School of Pharmacy, and witnessed enthusiastic participation, reinforcing the institutions commitment to fostering a healthy, active, and spirited campus environment.
