Inter School Sports Fest 2026

Sharda University Agra successfully organized the Inter School Sports Fest 2026 on 18th–19th March at the University Activity Centre, promoting unity, sportsmanship, and holistic development among students. The event was inaugurated by Honble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan with a symbolic pigeon release, emphasizing peace and togetherness.

Over 100 students participated enthusiastically in various competitions including Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Basketball, and Karate. Day 1 featured indoor sports, while Day 2 witnessed high-energy matches in Basketball, along with Chess finals and Karate championship events.

Key highlights included strong performances by Anand School of Engineering (ASET), Sharda School of Business Studies (SSBS), Sharda School of Smart Agriculture, and Sharda School of Humanities. ASET emerged as a dominant performer, winning the Karate Overall Championship and multiple events, while SSBS secured victory in Boys Basketball.

University officials, including Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Mishra and Dr. Vasundhara Saxena (Incharge Dean, DSW), emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, resilience, and teamwork. Sports Officer Mr. Kapil Kumar Attri and the organizing team ensured the smooth execution of the event.

The fest concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the Universitys commitment to nurturing talent, unity, and a strong sports culture among students.
