Innovation Shines: Smart India Internal Hackathon 2025

Sharda University, Agra campus, recently hosted a vibrant Internal Hackathon as part of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 initiative. Held at Raman Hall and organized by the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), the event brought together 52 dynamic student teams who showcased groundbreaking solutions across key domains like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Healthcare, Sustainable Energy, Agriculture, and Digital Governance.
Empowering Young Innovators for Viksit Bharat @ 2047
The hackathon was more than a competition — it was a launchpad for the next generation of innovators contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat. The event was graced by:
- Chief Guest: Dr. Santosh Upadhyay (MD & CEO, Soft Sol India Automation)
- Guests of Honour: Mr. Subroto Manna and Mr. Rohit Singh
Inspiring the participants, Honble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan emphasized the transformative role of innovation in nation-building.
Prof. (Dr.) R. Swaminathan, Dean ASET & President of IIC, highlighted the importance of collaboration and excellence in research and innovation.
Mr. Atul Narang, Vice President, extended strategic guidance and support to the budding innovators.

The hackathon was skillfully coordinated by Mr. Gopalji Varshneya, Convener of IIC, who also presented the SIH 2025 roadmap, ensuring seamless execution and high-impact engagement for both students and faculty.
