Industrial Visit Experiential Learning Visit to Sheroes Hangout Cafe

The Sharda School of Humanities organized a powerful and insightful experiential learning visit to Sheroes Hangout Café, Tajganj, Agra, under the theme “Exploring Trauma, Recovery, and Learning About Mental Strength and the Role of Society.” This initiative aimed to deepen students understanding of psychological resilience, social justice, and community empowerment.
Students from the Psychology and Political Science departments actively participated in the visit, engaging directly with acid attack survivors who manage and operate the café. Through heartfelt conversations and firsthand narratives, students gained profound insights into trauma recovery, mental strength, and the transformative role of social entrepreneurship in rehabilitation and advocacy.
The visit not only enriched academic perspectives but also fostered empathy, social awareness, and a deeper appreciation for the human spirit. It stands as a testament to the Schools commitment to experiential learning and socially engaged education.
