Hosts ‘Operation Sindoor Film Screening for NCC Cadets

Under the guidance of 2 UP Battalion NCC, Agra Cantt, Sharda University Agra organized a special screening of the short film Operation Sindoor for NCC cadets at the university auditorium to commemorate the first anniversary of the successful mission. Around 341 NCC cadets enthusiastically participated in the event and received an inspiring message of patriotism, discipline, and service to the nation.
The program was successfully conducted from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the presence of NCC officials, university administrators, faculty members, and students. Through the film screening, cadets were encouraged to embrace the values of national service, courage, dedication, and military ethics.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parmanand said in his address,
“Initiatives like Operation Sindoor strengthen the spirit of duty, courage, and service toward the nation among young people. The university remains committed to promoting national values through such meaningful programs.”
Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Mishra stated,
“Programs like these play a vital role in the personality development of NCC cadets. This initiative will further enhance leadership qualities, discipline, and national awareness among students.”
Dean Students Welfare Dr. Vasundhara Saxena remarked,
“This event is not merely a film screening but a powerful medium to connect youth with patriotism, social responsibility, and dedication. Sharda University will continue to organize such initiatives for the holistic development of students.”
Commanding Officer of 2 UP Battalion NCC, Agra, Colonel Narendra Prasad Semalty said,
“The anniversary celebration of Operation Sindoor inspires cadets with the pride, courage, and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. We believe such events further strengthen the spirit of national service among youth.”
The cadets participated in the program with great enthusiasm and discipline, contributing to the grand success of the event. Organized jointly by the university and NCC, the initiative emerged as a significant step toward nation-building and youth empowerment.
