Ek Vriksha Maa Ke Naam Campaign

In a heartfelt initiative to promote environmental awareness and honor the love of mothers, Sharda University Agra organized a unique tree plantation campaign titled "Ek Vriksha Maa Ke Naam" on campus.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the universitys faculty and staff, who each planted a tree in the name of their mother — symbolizing both gratitude and a commitment to a greener future.

The campaign was graced by Shri Digpal Singh Ji, Gram Pradhan of Singhna, as the Chief Guest, who appreciated the universitys eco-conscious effort and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in building a sustainable future.

Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti Ranjan, Vice Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, addressed the gathering and emphasized the vital role trees play in sustaining life. "Trees are not just providers of oxygen — they are protectors of our ecosystem. Let us pledge to plant more trees and preserve our environment," she said.

The campaign concluded with a collective pledge by all attendees to continue tree plantation efforts in the future, reinforcing their dedication to environmental preservation.
