Academic Educational and Industrial Visit to Jait Village Mathura
11 Mar 2026
Students from the Sharda School of Humanities at Sharda University, Agra, participated in an academic educational and industrial visit to Jait Village. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Avneet Kumar and Ms. Chanchal Sharma.
The primary objective of the visit was to help students understand the socio-economic conditions of rural artisans and communities. During the visit, students conducted a door-to-door survey and interacted directly with local residents to gather insights about their livelihoods, challenges, and the opportunities available in rural areas.
The team received valuable support and cooperation from local authorities, including Mr. Chandra Prakash, Mrs. Mamta Devi, and Mr. Lavi Singh, who guided the students and facilitated their interactions with the community.
This field visit provided students with first-hand exposure to rural livelihoods, development challenges, and community dynamics, making it a highly valuable experiential learning opportunity. It helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world understanding of rural socio-economic structures.
The organizing team extends special thanks to Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti Ranjan and Dr. Soni Sharma for their constant support and encouragement in promoting such field-based learning initiatives that enhance students academic and practical knowledge.
