About the Programme

The course would help students learn how to empower people throughout communities, regardless of their social, economic, racial or educational background. The course combines practice and theory, and the students must demonstrate academic excellence and the ability to work hands-on in the field of psychology. The focus is firmly on social justice, providing equal opportunities for all, and researching how to improve this.

Master of Arts - Psychology course is divided into four semesters. The first semester covers core papers, and the second semester shall cover two core papers and two discipline-specific electives. In the third and last semester, students shall cover papers focusing on research methods along with dissertations in their opted specialization. This course will enable them to choose careers in education, research, counselling, social work, rehabilitation, creative writing, government jobs, and public policy and administration.

Eligibility Criteria
For National Students
  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks with Psychology as one of the subjects.
  • Graduation with minimum 60% marks from any subject stream.

 

For International Students The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
